The 2019 WAM Scholarship Award Ceremony was successfully held at Wuhan University of Technology

At 10:00 a.m. on January 8, 2019, the 2018 WAM Scholarship Award Ceremony was held in the Lecture Hall of Wuhan University of Technology Testing Center. You Chonghwa, shareholder (director) of Wells Advanced Materials (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Liu Xijia, human resources manager, Chen Shangsen, sales manager and a group of three people attended the ceremony. Chen Hua, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Wuhan University of Technology, Shi Hu, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and Professor Cai Haopeng of the School of Materials Science and Engineering attended the ceremony.

The award ceremony was presided over by Mr. Liang Shuang. First of all, Deputy Secretary Shi delivered a speech on behalf of the school. On behalf of the new team, the leaders expressed a warm welcome to the guests of Wells Advanced Materials (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and summarized the achievements of composite materials discipline construction over the past year, on behalf of the college and the award-winning students and other staff., Expressed his heartfelt thanks to WAM for its actions to give back to the talents of universities and the society, and expressed his sincere admiration for WAM’s contribution in promoting industry-university-research cooperation and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

The shareholder (director) of the company, Mr. You Chonghwa, also delivered a speech on behalf of the company. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to do something for talent training, expressed congratulations to the winners, and shared with the students the importance of learning from his own experience “Live and learn" mentality actively strives to explore new knowledge and new directions, and encourages students to have clear goals, persevere, and  grow into the talents needed by the enterprise.

Subsequently, Professor Cai Haopeng read out the decision to award scholarships, announced the list of award recipients, organised the 31 recipients of Huibai Scholarship (bursary) awards, issued certificates, and to the participating leaders and guests and award-winning students to take a group photo to commemorate the occasion.

At the end of the meeting, Mr Liu, the company's HR manager, and Mr Chen Shangsen, the sales manager, introduced Huibai New Material's company situation, development history, corporate culture, and explained in detail the application of the company's products.We showed the students our management practice and excellent achievements in the cultivation of college students, and organised to answer their questions, which gained a good feedback.

The event was held to further deepen the cooperative relationship between WAM and Wuhan University of Science and Technology, let the college students better understand the Huibai New Material, understand the enterprise social talent demand, practice the social responsibility of giving back to education and society, and enhance the company's popularity and reputation.
