The Department of Fibre and Composites in the Faculty of Engineering at Feng Chia University is accredited by IEET and is a full program of study in fibre and composites, offering Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degrees. The department fosters students' basic education in fibre and composite materials and their ability to conduct independent research, leading them to self-learning and teamwork.Its research features include: nano-composite polymers and fibre materials, nano and protective composites, fibre materials and textiles related to biomedicine, smart apparel and healthcare textiles, functional fibre products for health and comfort, fibre products related to functional heat generation, electricity generation, acoustic emission and luminescence (TEAO), and textile development management and supply chain management.
